Overview
fordf100s.com is an independent enthusiast reference site dedicated to the Ford F-100 pickup truck (1948–1983). We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Ford Motor Company.
We built this site because we love these trucks, and we believe your privacy should be respected. This policy explains what data we collect (very little), how we use it, and what third-party services are involved. We aim to be straightforward — no walls of legalese.
Information We Collect
We do not require user accounts, logins, or registration of any kind. There are no forms that collect personal information unless email signup is enabled (see the Email Communications section below).
We do not use cookies. We do not fingerprint your browser. We do not build profiles about you.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how people use this site. Cloudflare Web Analytics is privacy-focused by design:
- No cookies are set
- No personal data is collected
- No cross-site tracking occurs
- Data is aggregated — we see page view counts and referrer information, not individual visitors

Interactive Tools
This site offers interactive tools including a VIN Lookup and a Data Plate Decoder. These tools:
- Process all data entirely in your browser (client-side)
- Do not send your VIN, data plate codes, or any input to our servers
- Do not store any data you enter
When you leave the page or close your browser, anything you entered is gone.
Search
Site search is powered by PageFind, which runs entirely in your browser. Your search queries are not sent to any server — the search index is downloaded to your browser and queried locally.
Third-Party Services
We use a small number of third-party services to deliver this site:
- Cloudflare Pages — Hosts and serves this website. Cloudflare may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) as part of normal web hosting. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts — We load fonts from Google's servers to display text on this site. When your browser requests these fonts, Google may receive your IP address. See Google Fonts Privacy.
Affiliate Links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. This helps support the site.
Affiliate partners may use their own cookies and tracking on their sites once you leave fordf100s.com. Their data practices are governed by their own privacy policies, not ours.
Email Communications
Email signup is not currently active on this site. If we enable it in the future:
- We will use Resend to send emails
- We will only collect your email address, and only if you voluntarily provide it
- We will never sell or share your email address with third parties
- Every email will include an unsubscribe link
Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since we collect virtually no personal information from anyone, this is unlikely to be an issue — but if you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will address it.
Changes to This Policy
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes (like enabling email collection), we will make the update clearly visible on the site.
